Email info@appfusion.us and a person replies within one working day. Include your iPhone model and iOS version if it is a bug; include the device identifier from the bottom of Settings if it is a data request. You can also write from the app: You › Settings › Email support.
Common questions
How accurate are AI scans?
Photo estimates are most reliable for simple plates and least reliable for mixed dishes, soups, restaurant food and hidden oil. Each item shows a confidence level; tap it to adjust the portion, remove an item, add one, or use "Something's off" with a hint to re-run. For packaged food, the barcode or nutrition-label scan is more accurate than a photo.
Is Bites free?
Yes. Search, barcodes, manual logging, AI scans, meal plans, insights and Apple Health sync are all free today. Bites Pro is an optional subscription that backs the servers and AI costs, keeps the app ad-free and independent, and gives you priority human support. If a feature ever moves behind Pro, we will announce it clearly first.
How do I cancel my subscription or the free trial?
Open iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Bites Pro › Cancel. Cancelling during the free trial means you are never charged. Cancelling later keeps access until the end of the period you paid for. The "Manage subscription" link in the You tab takes you straight there.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you email us, we will help you with the request and answer any billing question.
Where is my data?
On your device and in your own iCloud. There is no account and no Bites cloud copy of your log. If you use a new iPhone with the same iCloud account, your data appears there. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what reaches our server when you use AI scans.
How do I delete my data?
You › Settings › Delete all my data erases everything in the app and in iCloud. To delete the scan log, corrections and App Attest key on our server, email us the device identifier shown at the bottom of Settings.
How do I export my data?
You › Settings › Prepare CSV export creates a spreadsheet of your log, weights, water and workouts that you can share or save to Files.
Apple Health isn't syncing
Check iOS Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Bites and allow the categories you want. Steps and workouts are read; meals, water and weight are written when "Write to Health" is on in Bites Settings. Apple Health is not available on iPad.
Reminders don't arrive
Allow notifications for Bites in iOS Settings › Notifications, then turn on Meal reminders in Bites Settings. Reminders adapt to when you usually log.
